# Play Mode

### Where can I play Dustland Runner? Can I play on a treadmill?

As part of our anti-cheat mechanism, only players who opt for GPS mode can earn. You can still play Dustland Runner on a treadmill or with step count mode, but you will not be able to earn rewards.

### What are the rewards in the Reward 2.0 system?

Rewards from your runs come in two forms:

1. in-game DOSE that’s rewarded based on your energy level and # of players running at that hour, and
2. crafting materials with random drop quantity.

### Do I need to complete the entire mission to get rewards?

No. But there is a minimum of 5 energy that you have to spend every time to get a chance to receive items.
