# Play Mode

**Where can I play Dustland Runner? Can I play on a treadmill?**

As part of our anti-cheat mechanism, only players who opt for GPS mode can earn. You can still play Dustland Runner on a treadmill or with step count mode, but you will not be able to earn rewards.
